After years of planning and construction, Five Points Plaza officially opens on Saturday with a day of family-friendly events.

The plaza is divided into two parts – Trade Street Plaza and State Street Plaza. Activities are planned for both locations.

Despite a threat of rain, officials tell QCity Metro events will go on as planned.
